Construction Activity
PSE&G crews and our approved contractors completed demolition at 265 North 9th Street in Prospect Park.
All building materials will be removed and properly disposed offsite. Work activities will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work schedules are estimates, weather dependent and subject to change.
Safety is our core value. It is essential that you and anyone using your property, including children and pets, refrain from going near our work zones. Sidewalk closures will continue on the following streets:
- North 9th Street between Fairview Avenue to Brown Avenue
- North 10th Street between Fairview Avenue to Brown Avenue
- Fairview Avenue between North 9th Street to North 10th Street
All work will occur inside the fence line on PSE&G property; however, you may notice an increase in noise during these activities.

Trimming and removing certain trees along the route is required to facilitate construction and establish necessary clearances.

What kind of impacts will there be to customers during construction and how will you mitigate impacts?
- PSE&G will work with municipal officials to minimize any disruptions and coordinate traffic flow during construction. We will also communicate any disruptions directly with impacted customers. On days when school is in session, crews will work to minimize disruption to school pickup and drop off when possible.
